Our friend the Glan Llugwy Guest House based at Betws-y-coed in Snowdonia National Park North Wales, takes pet-friendly to the next level.

I’ll also guarantee that the traditional breakfasts are truly something else, including the vegetarian options.

The beauty of the location and Betws is really the spectacular riverside walks and access to the magnificence of Snowdonia. It’s one of the best places to stay in Snowdonia National Park, with the best of the mountains around ten miles to the west.

By the village bridge you’ll find people relaxing on the rocks by the waterfalls, and as you walk west up the river it shallows quickly so there heaps of places where you can allow pup to go for a paddle safely. It’s a great spot for dog walkers and you can expect to see the pups chasing and fetching sticks thrown into the water.

Consistently rated on Facebook 5 out of 5, and amongst the best places to stay in the area you need to take pup there for a holiday.
